The last 7 days have been super rough, but I've learned that things happens for a reason and I'm still blessed to be still here living my life. I'm also thankful that I still have a chance to change and be an influence in people's lives, everyday.
Within that, I can't continue on with the subject of life without giving the respect to those that lost their lives to unwarranted gun violence, everywhere. It hurts to see how people have divided themselves into factions. It's a whole lot going on in the world and I really just want to pray and hope that the families of each of these individuals are able to deal with the pain of not able to see their loved ones ever again.
Which is why I decided to scrap the original episode of HWM RADIO that I had to create this one before you. It took me some time but I really wanted to share with you a wide range of sounds from artists that I felt fit the direction of the show. That direction being awareness, honesty, positive along with the negative. I wanted to share music that I felt was inspiring as well as thought provoking and introspective. I hope you enjoy this week's show and see the underlying messages embedded within the music. This episode is dedicated to those that have lost their lives to gun violence, everywhere. The songs in this session reflect exactly how I feel about everything that is going on and the times that we are living in at this very moment. Every song was handpicked to reflect the current times, whether positive, inspiring, rebellious, conscious or proud.
